| It's true. Yesterday was my last day in the studio working on the new record. It's gonna be pretty great, I think. It's going to be mixed over the next few weeks and the hope is to have it out sometime around Thanksgiving if not sooner.
Now, here's the deal. I've been trying to come up with ways for pre-order that are a little unconventional. So, here's what I'm gonna do: if you send me (via paypal) $10 or more I will make sure that this album is in your hands before the release date. ALSO, you will receive a bonus disc of material that won't be on this or any other album that I put out as well as some other goodies . Your money will go DIRECTLY to funding the rest of the album (mastering, duplication, etc.) that can get pretty pricey. So, if you're planning on purchasing the record when it comes out anyway, this is a great way to get more for your buck.
Please paypal your donation/pre-order to theflor@gmail.com along with your mailing address and you will be receiving the new record and a bonus disc in the near future.
Thanks! I'm pretty pumped to get this new music in your hands!

| Hey all, Man, there is a lot going on right now in the world of Coin Laundry Loser. I've been almost overwhelmingly busy in the past month. Between a little jaunt up to Canada w/ Deas Vail (the Sugar Ray of piano-based-indie-rock) playing shows the way up and back, booking a good portion of 5 weeks of shows for DV and myself for June/July, and starting the recording process for a new album, and not to mention our house being the hotel of choice for family and friends alike all during this time, it's been pretty "nutso" around here.
Back to recording for a sec, I've been in the studio for the past week putting the beginnings and middle together for a new album. It's been amazing and the new songs are turning out better than I had hoped. Andrew Osenga is wearing the producer/engineer/various musician hats on this project and it couldn't be in better hands, honestly. If you remember, Andrew produced my 3 songs on the split EP that Owen Pye and myself released last fall (and are also on the myspace.) Hopefully this record will be out in September sometime and will include 7 new songs and a more than few surprises including some guest musicians. I couldn't be more excited to share this release with you. But more on that as it gets closer to being complete.
As I mentioned earlier, I am playing all over the midwest this summer with Deas Vail so if you live in any midwestern US state, more than likely you'll see my mug once or twice...plus Cornerstone!!!
Here are some dates we have yet to book. If you can help in any of these areas, let a brotha know! We're doing a lot of house shows on this run as well, so if you've got a sweet-ace pad where we can play, hit me up:
Mon June 23 - Cinci, OH Wed June 25 - Columbus, OH Sun June 29 - Toledo, OH Mon June 30 - central, IN Mon July 7 - Springfield/Joplin, MO Sun July 13 - Lincoln, NE Mon July 14 - Des Moines, IA Tue July 15 - Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, Anywhere in IA Thu July 17 - Milwaukee/Madison, WI Fri July 18 - Chicago, IL
Thanks!
On an unrelated topic, I'm really enjoying the new Death Cab, Weezer, and Coldplay albums. I'm glad they didn't let me down like Counting Crows did this year.
Love you guys! Keep your eyes open and your browser logged on HERE for more goings-on.

| It's true. 96 years ago today the Titanic hit an iceberg and the "unsinkable" sank. My guess is it's had something to do with the quote: "God himself could not sink this ship." Yeeeeeahhh...probably not a good thing to test God with.
Anywho, a few things you should be aware of:
1. My friend and fellow Nashvillian, Arthur Alligood released a new EP for free download from his site: www.arthuralligood.com and it's pretty great.
I played with Arthur a few months back and I was so impressed with his songwriting and voice that I didn't want to play after him. He just had something that grabbed you and made you listen. Anyway, give it a listen and download it (I mean, it's free) and tell your friends about it.
B. I'm playing a few shows in the coming weeks in the area and elsewhere so check the SHOWS for more info. The first being a Nashville show this Saturday (April 19th) for an Invisible Children Benefit at The Anchor. I play at 5pm and there's food! So come early, eat, and listen to some CLL.
3. I have plans to record a new album soon and I'm extremely excited about this batch of songs that I have waiting in the wings. The where, when, and how of it all is still being decided but I would love to have it out this year so I can hit the road again and see all you wonderful people.
Ok, that's all.
Have a great week!
